On 10/3/2011, the Commissioner posted the following note.

Parents, we are down to our last few weeks in the season.  I want to thank you for a great year and we look forward to seeing you again next year.  For the boys who are moving into the 7th grade next year, good luck with your middle school football team.

There are a few dates and times that you need to know.

Oct 9th is Super Bowl Sunday for the JFLW.  The Pony games start at 11:00 to accommodate the 3:00 Super Bowl start at Westerville North High School.  The Bronco games will run as scheduled.  The Bronco Super Bowl will start around 5:00 or about 20 minutes after the Pony game has ended.

Oct 15th is equipment turn in.  We are doing this a little different this year.  We are storing our equipment at the U Store It facility off of Schrock Rd, west of Cleveland Ave.  The address is 6800 Oak Creek Dr.  This is just west of the Flags Center.  We ask that you wash your game pants and put only the hip/thigh/butt and knee pads in a plastic Kroger bag.   Take the decals off the helmets and don't forget the shoulder pads.  Our hope is that you drive up, hand us the equipment out your car door window and then you are on your way.

Oct 16th are the All Star Games.  The games will start at noon starting with the Pony Division.  The Bronco Division All Star game will start at roughly 1:45.  Both games will be played at Westerville Central HS.

Oct 22nd is the second equipment turn in date for the All Star participants.

I know it's early but we will be sending home a registration form for the 2012 season during the last two weeks of school.  Please look for it.

Also, this 2011 season is my last with the JFLW.  I have had two boys go through this league and I truly enjoyed every day.  To the coaches in the league, I want to thank you for the time and effort you put forth this season.  There was always something that needed to be done and your help was greatly appreciated.  Most importantly, to all the new friends that I have made during these years.  I value that friendship and it will not end.

Best Wished to all of you and Thank You for your participation in the Junior Football League of Westerville.
